This was a style test for a more realistic Erinys design. Posing was not prioritized as much as style. A lot of lessons learned, and a fairly accurate depiction of Erinys. It also provided me with various strategies for dealing with translucent material in comic/manga artwork.
I do plan on revisiting this sometime in the future to adjust the posing to something more dynamic and holistically fulfilling.
Erinys is a Fury, which is a goddess of vengeance against unnatural crimes (like matricide and murder of one's own blood/kin). She dons a black, translucent robe, and covers her face with a mask threaded with Pheasant's Eye Narcissus to shield mortals from her Arsenic breath. Her hair is snow white, like a hag's, but her skin is soft and youthful (this is why they gained a reputation as goddess "hags"). Most noticeable, even in this temporary state of humanity, her eyes are black with silvery-white irises... and they bleed streams of blood when enraged.
The necklace and jewelry also incorporates some authentic Mycenaean spiral designs. Erinys is attracted to floral scents and golden jewelry--a consequence of being a goddess that is often feared and seldom worshiped with the same fervor as gods like Athena or Apollo (refer to the Trial of Orestes).
